The OPDL selects E2E Soccer for their league management

The Ontario Soccer Association has selected E2E Soccer to provide an online management solution for the Ontario Player Development League (OPDL).

Launched in 2014, the OPDL is the province's first standards-based, youth high performance league, that combines top level competition, with strict high performance training standards.

The OPDL's management solution is an integrated system using E2E Soccer's League Centre and Ref Centre products. E2E Soccer will also support the OPDL on their popular mobile apps. As well as providing operational efficiencies, the OPDL management solution will allow The Ontario Soccer Association to offer an improved service to the coaches, players and game officials participating in the OPDL.

Services offered will include:

  • Scheduling communication
  • Results service
  • Goal scoring statistics
  • Club management
  • Discipline management
  • Google maps to fields
  • News stories on the OPDL
  • Referee assignment
  • Referee payroll and expense management

"With the OPDL doubling in size in 2015 we recognized the need for a high performance management system," Bjorn Osieck, OSA Director, Business Operations said. "E2E Soccer has shown they can meet the requirements for a high performance and standards based league."

Sixteen of Ontario's leading clubs have franchises in the OPDL, with each club fielding four teams in the 2015 league.
